“ I’ve always wanted to be an artiste as well as to learn the business,” says Shenseea. It was during this time, that she has been introduced to Romeich Major, the entertainment and promotion ‘giant’ from the Kingston area. As a single mother, Chinsea knew that she had to keep going on to give and support him in every way she could. She had even more reason to keep going on, her beautiful son Raj. Many people would give up at that point, but not Shenseea.
Unfortunately, due to financial reasons she was unable to finish her studies. She graduated from Mona High School and moved on to Exed Community College studying Entertainment Management. While her ambition is to be an international artiste, she was also busy with learning the business from inside out. At about the age of three, she moved to Kingston and that ultimately lead her on the path to stardom. From the moment she could walk and talk, Chinsea was ‘destined’ to become a star.
Shenseea was born as Chinsea Lee in the parish of St. A Shenseea! is the phrase that you hear beginning of every track of this multifaceted, multitalented young Queen. Right now she is on her way, to break through all boundaries and show the world, that good music is all encompassing and boundless.
